Traveled for the first time to Medugorje. It can be intimidating to not know the language and not to know what to expect. However, this B&B is like a home away from home. I was greeted by Ana and Ivan (her son). Ivan is proficient in English. He also speaks some Italian and obviously the local language. The room was very clean, comfortable and very quiet. Drove from Sarajevo, and the parking in the property is a plus. The building is located right behind a large Namex supermarket, where you can find anything and everything. The walk to St James is short. The food is not included in the base price, but the breakfast prepared by Ana was excellent, and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely stay here again on the next trip. There is always a next with Medugorje.

Soñamos en ir a Medjudore y al llegar a la estación de bus dimos con este alojamiento. Es una casa familiar donde sus habitaciones son sencillas, no tiene televisión , tiene baños privados , agua caliente y calefacción . Es un lugar muy tranquilo así que tendrás tiempo para descansar luego de las caminatas y peregrinación. Las habitaciones son como estar en un retiro espiritual y vale la pena . Son muy limpias y cómodas La iglesia está muy cerca y es ahí donde se reúnen todos los peregrinos para visitar al Santísimo , rezo del rosario , hora santa , confesiones , misa y mucho más . El wifi es súper bueno en el alojamiento. En el desayuno te dan bastante comida y muy buena . Me imagino que te dan esa cantidad para poder aguantar durante las peregrinaciones Importante indicarte que al llegar a la pensión te piden el pasaporte y hasta que no les pagues no te devuelven . Eso me molesto un poco porque no me dijeron eso previamente así que vayan preparados . El pago solo se hace en efectivo ( no aceptan o no tiene para Tarjeta de crédito ) y mejor si lo pagan en la moneda local ( cunas) La familia es muy amable los dos hijos hablan muy bien inglés y con ellos pueden comunicarse mucho más para que les ayuden con información . Y tienen a ping pong , su mascota , que es como la alarma de la casa . Te ladra mucho pero es un amor cuando lo acaricias

Very nice accommodation in a quiet location with a family atmosphere. I appreciate the great breakfast. The accommodation is only a 10-minute walk from the church. I definitely recommend.

Liked it better the second night. Welcome baked treats. Lunch meal looked and smelled good. Morning air smells sweet and clean as you walk 5 minutes to bus station to catch early (only on my day) bus back to Dubrovnik.
