After 6 mornings of trying Bosnian coffee around Sarajevo, this was my favorite spot. While not the most “traditional” atmosphere that one might be looking for in the old town, it was without a doubt the best tasting coffee. The lady inside was so sweet and the variety fresh baked of cakes/sweets was quite impressive.

Rahatlook is a charming cafe just off the main bustling streets of old town where you are guaranteed a smile, authentic Bosnian beverages, and a sweet homemade treat of natural ingredients. Many bakeries are using margarine, artificial whipped cream, etc in their versions of classic desserts but Rahatlook uses butter and real whipped cream. This alone would keep me returning. The added benefits of friendly owners (mother and son were lovely to speak with), comfortable vibe, and reasonable prices are icing on the cake (so to speak). ;-) Their tufahiya and orasnice are the best I've had and their boza and juniper water is addicting. Don't miss the gem in Sarajevo!

We tried the Bosnian coffee, an americano, traditional salep, and several cakes including a chocolate-cherry-walnut cake, a cherry cheesecake, and an apple cake. Everything was made in house and delicious. Highly recommend!

This was a highlight of our trip to Sarajevo! It was so lovely that we visited twice during our 5 day stay in the city. The owner bakes these cakes and cookies herself and they are INCREDIBLE. Definitely worth a stop for a coffee and a slice of cake.

Başçarşıdaki kalabalık kafelerin aksine daha sakin ve atmosferi çok tatlı bir kafe. Getirdikleri boşnak kahvesinden 3 fincan çıkıyor (diğer kafelerde hep 2 fincan çıktı). Kahvenin yanına öneri üzerine görseldeki tatlıyı aldık tadı mükemmeldi. Kahve 4, tatlı da 3.5KMydi. Fiyat-tat-atmosfer açısından 10/10 mekan, kesinlikle tavsiye edilir. Gidin :)

Najbolja bosanska kava u Sarajevu. Ambijent je predivan, a gospodja koja radi je toliko ljubazna i nasmijana. Takodjer u ponudi imaju domaće kolače. Sve preporuke!

Lovely family owned bakery 🇧🇦 The head baker is the owner who uses her own recipes shared onto her by her grandmother 🥹 Her daughter in law was so sweet and approached me to go through their menu. I had the plum cake and pressed apple juice — both delicious and light. I recommend both! Unfortunately, I only stumbled across this bakery on my last day. It’s quietly tucked away literally in between the old and new town, full of locals. This was a hidden gem and service is great 💕

Posto molto carino nel centro della vecchia città, perfetto per una colazione a base di caffè bosniaco e dolci fatti in casa. Camerieri molto gentili e disponibili, così come la titolare.

Rahatlook is very cozy place with really good staff. Coffee is one of the best we ever had and we also tried their traditional sweets: Orasnica and Tufahija and both were amazing. They also have juices created from traditional plants like rose and elderflower. If you are in Sarajevo and looking for place to take a break from walking through Bascarsija, have coffee and something sweet, Rahatlook is your place to go. 10/10

Domaći sladoled, ukusni kolači i sokovi po tradicionalnim receptima koje pravi domaćica kafea lično, domaća kafa u bakrenim, ručno rađenim džezvicama, prijatna atmosfera u bašti gdje ste malo odmaknuti od čaršijske vreve i jako ljubazno osoblje - sve ovo čini Rahatlook našim omiljenim mjestom.

J'adore cet endroit dans la vieille ville mais au calme avec une grande terrasse bien ombragée. J'ai goûté le gâteau aux pommes, un régal. Tout le personnel est adorable, toujours souriant 😍

This is definitely the best Bosnian coffee I’ve had in all of Sarajevo. It’s also cheaper than at many places. Their patio is big and cool in the summer, and they have an excellent cat to keep you company. A must!
